Margaux, founder of ComptAgency, traveled the world and worked in major firms to learn the ins and outs of the profession… before creating a firm in her own image. ComptAgency was born from a need: putting people back at the heart of numbers. Today, it’s a sincere, agile, and committed firm on a human scale.

I founded ComptAgency after spending more than 10 years in international accounting firms, working alongside innovative start-ups, tech and e-commerce companies, as well as French subsidiaries and branches of foreign groups. During this time, I developed a strong sense of rigor, technical expertise, and a process-driven mindset.

But I also realized what was profoundly missing in this profession: the human aspect.
What I want today is to reconcile entrepreneurs with their accounting. To show them it can be a real lever for clarity, aligned decisions, and even ambition.

Why does ComptAgency exist?

I founded ComptAgency after several years in large international firms. I learned a lot there: rigor, processes, and technical expertise.

But I also realized what was profoundly missing in this profession: the human aspect.
What I want today is to reconcile entrepreneurs with their accounting. To show them it can be a real lever for clarity, aligned decisions, and even ambition.
